Job Description
OverviewThe Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving new business growth across the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Fire/Rescue markets, including municipal, hospital-based, private, and air medical transport providers. This is a remote role focused on strategic sales execution, relationship development, and market expansion throughout an assigned multi-state territory.
The ideal candidate brings a consultative sales approach, strong understanding of EMS operations and/or revenue cycle management, and a proven ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Air medical transport experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
As a Regional Sales Manager, you represent Digitech's brand, values, and commitment to the EMS community. You are the face of our organization for prospective clients, helping agencies improve revenue integrity, compliance, and patient experience through our industry-leading Ambulance Commander billing platform and full-service billing solutions.
Your work directly contributes to Digitech's continued growth and to the financial health of the agencies that save lives every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, engage, and win new EMS billing contracts in your assigned territory.
 - Pipeline Development: Research, proactively engage, track, and qualify prospects using Salesforce and other public procurement tools.
 - Consultative Selling: Conduct presentations, virtual demos, and on-site meetings with EMS and municipal leaders to understand operational challenges and tailor solutions.
 - Proposal Management: Collaborate with Marketing and Proposal teams to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other bid opportunities with precision and compliance.
 - Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and new market entrants. Provide feedback to Sales leadership.
 - Relationship Building: Establish and maintain executive-level relationships within target accounts to build long-term trust and influence.
 - Reporting: Maintain accurate and current information within Salesforce and other internal systems to ensure sales pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.
 - Representation: Attend national and regional EMS conferences, association events, and trade shows to represent the Digitech brand and build market awareness.
 - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders in Implementation, Client Success, and Technology to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
 
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
 - Minimum 3+ years of successful outside sales experience, ideally in EMS, healthcare RCM, or SaaS.
 - Strong preference for candidates with EMS or air medical transport industry experience and existing professional networks within those sectors.
 - Proven track record of exceeding annual sales quotas and closing large, complex contracts.
 - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision makers.
 - Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through.
 - Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and virtual meeting platforms.
 - Ability to interpret bid documents, municipal procurement rules, and related compliance requirements.
 - Willingness to travel up to 2535% for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
