ABOUT THE TEAM
Tide Germany is a team with the mission to establish and scale tide with its internationally successful business accounts in the German Market.
With its value proposition "The free business account for small businesses with secure payment transactions, simple business processes, free invoicing and SEPA transfers" we will attract sole traders and established businesses in the German Market with an attractive product and service offering.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Marketing Manager to expand and manage our product portfolio to further develop our German account offering and foster growth. Our aim is to provide SME's with the products they need to save time for their financial admin, from Accounting and Invoicing, to Payroll.
In this role you will be accountable for a GTM strategy of dedicated product lines and their German revenues. Reporting to the Country Managing Director you will help boost the German Growth by a deep understanding of the German market, customer needs, regulatory and the competitive environment.
Some of the things you'll be doing:
- Local market research: You will perform local market research, product discovery and customer insights and adapt suitable product strategies for the tide business account.
- Local products and projects: You will work with global product managers to develop locally relevant products. By deeply understanding local customer needs and product features, you will lead projects for the German market in close collaboration with the international organisation.
- Revenue Ownership: Take ownership for driving revenue growth for your product line in Germany. Develop and execute strategies to meet revenue targets, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product offerings, pricing, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Marketing and Sales Strategy: You will define and update local marketing and sales plans. You will track marketing and sales performance and initiate any corrective actions required. You are owning the marketing strategy in order to achieve product adoption goals, with particular emphasis on CRM/Customer lifecycle management and content.
- Product Marketing and sales material: You will be responsible for creation and maintenance of marketing copy/collateral and other customer facing materials taking into account German legislation.
- Go -Live and Operational Readiness: You will collaborate closely with the regional operations team to ensure operational readiness. Before release of product features you will be responsible for the QA and you act as the point of contact for all internal functionality questions.
- You have 5+ years' relevant product marketing or commercial management experience.
- You have experience in and understanding of the SME space, SaaS software and/or fintech. Previous experience in working in the accounting space, insurance, business services is of advantage.
- You ask 'why?', and critically engage with ideas, strategy and proposals, and constructively provide feedback and your points of view
- You have a data-driven approach to understanding the competitor landscape, trends, product growth opportunities and tracking marketing KPIs/metrics.
- You have driven adoption and scaled a complex product in a fast growing company before, with an appreciation for the nuances of acquisition, activation and retention
- You have a foundational understanding of CRM, performance marketing and sales enablement, so that you can constructively collaborate with these channels and drive improvements
- You have built value propositions and positioning for Saas products, including for specific target segments
- You are organised, resilient and independent. You take the initiative and enjoy working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch.
- You've worked across multiple markets, navigating the complexities of global product development with a keen understanding of localization requirements.
- You're a self-starter who doesn't wait for instruction, and who works backwards from targets to ensure effective execution.
