District Manager Job description
Summary:
- The District Manager directs and oversees the management of overall daily operations of multiple store locations. The District Manager is responsible for developing and leading activities involved in operating multiple store locations in a particular region to maximize efficiency and productivity. Also, responsible for leading, supporting, and mentoring direct reports to achieve the Company’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Train and lead General Managers in the planning and execution of operational goals and objectives at 6-10 sites.
- Make regular visits to and conduct meetings at all stores within the market.
- Consistently and accurately manage the store budget for each store assigned to meet or exceed company’s financial goals.
- Make sure each store is maintaining a neat, orderly, and safe environment by placing emphasis on the life-saving rules.
- Ensure appropriate levels of inventory are maintained at the store levels managed, with appropriate number of staff.
- Reinforce the high level of customer service required at every store managed.
- Effectively investigate and resolve customer complaints to company standards.
- Ensures the consistent execution of company and industry standards.
- Resolving operational problems that arise utilizing provided company resources and support.
- Ensure that positive practices are in place to promote a safe, productive, and customer-retaining environment.
Requirements
Requirements and skills:
- Minimum 3-year management experience in a Retail Store environment
- 5 – 7 years overall successful multi-units’ management experience preferred (in Automotive or related industry strongly preferred)
- Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must live in the market and travel throughout locations within the market.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Authorize a Background Check to Be Performed After Accepted Job Offer is Made
- Authorize a Drug Test to Be Performed After Accepted Job Offer is Made
- Computer fluency required.

Physical Requirements:
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking to achieve desired outcome.
- Be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and crawl.
- Driving, Sitting, and standing on hard surface floors for up to 12 hours per day
- Work in variable weather conditions.
