About Fella Health
Fella Health helps middle-aged men live 10 years longer.
We are the telemedicine clinic for bigger guys, worldwide. We use medical weight loss treatment to solve our fellas' most pressing healthcare need, then remain a fella's core healthcare provider for the rest of their life - focused on men's health, longevity, mental health, and primary care.
We will have served 1 million fellas by the end of 2026, and 10 million fellas by the end of 2028.
Our mission is to solve male obesity worldwide, by accelerating the take-up of GLP-1s in middle-aged men. From this, we’ll become the world’s leading men’s health brand.
We’ve grown >150x since Sept 2022, grown >10x since Nov 2023, and are strongly cashflow positive. We have expanded our state coverage to >95% of US population, have started to expand our clinical protocol beyond weight (e.g. testosterone), and are eyeing up international expansion.
We're still a young startup and are moving quickly. We have a long way to go. This is still Day 1.

The opportunity as Registered Dietitian
Fella is building a world-class team.
As a Registered Dietitian at Fella Health you’ll work closely with our Clinical Ops Lead and Medical Team to provide high-quality nutrition advice and support for our Fellas during their weight loss journey. You’ll meet with our Fellas synchronously and create an eating plan tailored to their needs, goals, and dietary preferences—all in a judgment-free zone. You’ll also continuously provide feedback that will help improve our protocols & systems to ensure the best experience for our Fellas.
This is a part-time, remote, contractor role, and you’ll work in the US timezone of your choice ~20hrs/wk.
You'll work closely with our Clinical Ops Lead (Arvee Sese), Physician President (Rafid Fadul, MD), and our CEO (Richie Cartwright).
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Primary:
- Individual Coaching: You'll be in charge of the nutrition coaching of our fellas. You'll triage fellas based on their health conditions, what type of problems they're facing, & their meal preferences, then develop an eating plan that will supplement their medication usage.
CX Concerns: You’ll help fellas with any of their issues with the broader program by endorsing them to the careteam and monitoring their case until it is resolved.
Secondary:
- RD Protocol Improvement: You'll work with our Clinical Ops Lead to improve the protocol. You'll gather important feedback from your fellas and proactively suggest improvements.
- Improve our clinical systems: You’ll work closely with our Ops Lead to provide feedback for our systems to improve your workflow.
Need to Have
- Hours: you're able to work ≥10 hours/week.
- License: you are licensed in either Michigan or Georgia.
- Communication: you are a compelling and caring communicator over video & text, with sufficient tech literacy.
- Empathy: you have a deep understanding of your fellas, knowing how to triage them and how best to keep them engaged.
- Friend: many fellas have never opened up about this before, so you'll make the fella feel comfortable by being personable. You'll know when and how to joke around with the fella.
- Resilience: this will be some of the most rewarding work you do, but it won't be easy and there will be resistance. You'll need to stay with each of your fellas.
Nice to Have
- Experience: you have 1+ years experience as a registered dietitian working in high-paced, consumer-centric telemedicine.
- In-network: you are in-network with insurance providers in either Michigan or Georgia.
- Obesity: ideally you have 1+ years working with patients with obesity taking GLP-1s (and maybe other medications).
- Hours: you have a flexible schedule, being able to speak with fellas in mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
- Education: maybe you have an advanced degree which gives you a powerful clinical understanding.
