About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a National Sales Manager for our Equipment Finance Trailer Division. This position is the primary trailer industry leader for Wells Fargo Equipment Finance and will be responsible for business development, relationship management, and business management.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop a team of sales personnel, responsible for achieving assigned volume and goals through the sale of Equipment Finance products and strategy
  • Establish the market strategy, product development and growth opportunities
  • Oversee credit, risk and process management
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Equipment Finance Sales
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Evaluate future trailer asset needs and coordinate purchase quantities and orders on behalf of the division

  • Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Equipment Finance Sales experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Management experience

  • Required Qualifications, International:
  • Experience in Equipment Finance Sales, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Management experience

  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of the trailer and transportation industry.
  • Experience forecasting market trends and conditions through interpretation of economic, industry, and proprietary data.
  • Previous experience with operating leases including end of term renewal and disposition activities.
  • Extensive credit and financial analysis background.
  • History of hiring and developing sales employees.

  • Job Expectations:
  • Achieve desired volume and profitability goals
  • Provide market expertise and support both within Wells Fargo Equipment Finance and across the Wells Fargo platform
  • Manage all marketing activity including coordination of sales activities for an experienced originations team
  • High reliance on CRM for identification of new business opportunities and following through on the sales cycle of opportunities
